Ametrite
amtreleased · CLI + MCPAmetrite is the Sothis suite’s board: a local-first issue tracker and wikilinked knowledge base in a single SQLite file, driven by one Rust binary that is both a CLI and an MCP server. Linear and Obsidian in one file — no cloud, no accounts, no embeddings.
Why it exists
Coding agents forget everything between sessions, and two agents on one repo share no state: no backlog, no record of who is doing what, no memory of the decisions already made. The "why" should be one backlink hop from the "what".
What it does
amt claim atomically leases the highest-priority open issue to exactly one agent. A crashed agent’s lease expires and the issue returns to the board.
Issue and note bodies are markdown with [[wikilinks]] and #tags, indexed into a bidirectional link graph.
amt decide records an ADR-style decision against the issue it resolves — searchable, linkable, supersedable.
Search without embeddings: SQLite FTS5 with BM25, tags, the link graph and structured filters.
Install and run
Homebrew
$brew install Davidb3l/tap/amtRecent Homebrew refuses third-party taps until you trust them — run brew trust Davidb3l/tap if it asks.
Claim the top issue
$amt claimOne BEGIN IMMEDIATE transaction. Two agents can never hold the same issue.
Installing the whole suite at once is a different path —the plugins first, then every CLI in one shot.
